| Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III threw two interceptions and led just one scoring drive during a 27-7 loss Week 11 vs. Tampa Bay. Griffin completed 23 of 32 passes for 207 yards, while rushing for 41 yards on six carries.|
Griffin's afternoon got off to an inauspicious start as his first pass of the game was intercepted. However, in his defense it was primarily the fault of tight end Niles Paul, who had trouble hauling in a short gain. The ball deflected off of Paul's hands and was picked off by a Tampa Bay defender.
Griffin's second interception caused more damage, as this time Bucs cornerback Johnathan Banks was able to haul in a deflected pass by one of his teammates and return it 19 yards for a touchdown late in the first quarter to give Tampa Bay a 10-0 lead.
Griffin's lone touchdown came with 11 seconds left in the second quarter, as running back Roy Helu took a short screen pass and turned up the field 30 yards for a touchdown.
The Redskins are back in action Week 12 at San Francisco.
