| Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III went 6 for 9 with 112 passing yards while gaining 24 yards on four carries in Monday's preseason game against the Browns.|
Griffin had the Redskins moving on the team's first drive, but the offense turned the ball over on a pitch that running back Alfred Morris couldn't handle. Griffin moved the ball with ease again on his second drive, at one point gaining 18 yards on a scramble, before throwing an interception in Cleveland territory. He received one more drive and took the ball all the way down to the one before the offense couldn't convert on fourth down at the goal line.
Griffin did a solid job in his first extended action of the preseason, though he was seen limping slightly at one point after a slide. He's aiming for a bounceback campaign in his second season back from surgery to repair his ACL and LCL.
