| Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III said Wednesday that his confidence remains "sky high" despite being benched in favor of Colt McCoy and serving as a backup over the last two weeks, CSNWashington.com reports.|
"Your confidence can’t be shaken by anything that happens in your career," Griffin said after Wednesday’s practice. "So, for me, my confidence is still sky high."
McCoy was limited in practice Wednesday after suffering a neck strain in Week 14. Coach Jay Gruden has yet to name a starter for Week 15.
"Whatever Coach decides as far as the quarterback position, what we’re going to do going forward, that’s up to him," Griffin said. "I’m just here to help this team win."
The Redskins enter Sunday's matchup with the Giants on a five-game losing streak and with a 3-10 record on the season.
