| Robert Griffin III , among others, blamed much of his struggles last year on the brace worn on his right knee. After tearing his ACL in January and rushing through his rehab, Griffin wasn't nearly as effective as a rusher as he was during his rookie season. But with the nightmare that was the 2013 Redskins season in the rear view mirror, Griffin is focused on 2014 without the added bulk on his right knee. |
"I think it's safe to say I won't be wearing the brace," Griffin told Comcast Sportsnet , adding that he'll huddle with team doctors before making a final decision.
Last year Griffin threw for 3,203 yards and 16 touchdowns with 12 interceptions, four fumbles lost and zero rushing touchdowns with 489 rush yards in 13 games.
